Yesterday the appointment was made to cut off the hair and finally start wearing the wig.
The hairdresser was very nice and a professional.
Shaving the head?
None of it, we still have an intermediate.
And see the result !
Walking around in this way with a new coupe is the best impulse to accept the next step.
But that picture we'll keep as a secret for this moment.

The announcement that the third day after the chemo treatment could be the worst, came true!
The medicine against the nausea worked after all, but it gave a lot of pain in the stomach.
Jet could yield to a general feeling of fatigue by sleeping some time after lunch.
Although she always has a lot of energy, she surrenders now to the spirit of Christmas.

The first day after the chemo treatment went in an easy way.
The medicines are the reason that provisionally Jet doesn't feel any side effects.
We went to the Christmas skating rink to watch the grandchildren skating for the first time this winter.
It was a pleasant and relaxed  day.

Outside our tree is lightning the darkness.

Today the first Chemo treatment took place.

A very nice nurse will be the key person during the whole procedure.

Every three weeks one infusion.
Alltogether 6 times.

The after effects we will find out in two days.

A new episode

This morning at 11 am we had another  conversation  with the oncologist.
To get straight to the point, chemo therapy is now inevitable.
The liver shows once again that there are new tumours active and the cancer markers in the blood were alarmingly increased.
Because of the situation the chemo treatment must take place as soon as possible.
The first infusion is next Friday at 13: 00.

Altogether the chemo period will last 9 months.

After a CT scan and new blood research last week, we will hear the results from the oncologist tomorrow.

The main question is if the heavy chemo therapy can be averted for some time?

Waiting for the verdict now.
