Celebration day

Every day is a reason to celebrate.
But today is a very special day.
Milan is 7 years and we have a party.

A sunny day

Every three months a control visit takes place at the hospital.
After blood research the oncologist gives his conclusion.
Today it was a very foggy day. And so we felt driving to the hospital. Gray and cold.

The sun came through half way, but we couldn't take it like a symbolic
fact. But the great message was that the situation is still stable.
Driving home we admired the beautiful colours of autumn and the
sunshine.
For us the holidays already started.

Finishing her work

On September 1 2011 Jet finished
her work for the city of Houten.
She worked as secretary of the
Mayor and Aldermen for exactly
10 years with much pleasure.
Although the physical situation
is stable, working was too much.
Today is the official farewell
lunch with the Mayor and colleagues
of her department.
We want to enjoy family, friends
and life for a long time from now.

Mittenwald

We enjoy our holidays in Bayern.
In spite of much rain, we like to be here
because of the nice appartement and fine pubs
and restaurants.
Just now we have two excellent sunny days.

Back to Mittenwald this summer

Still going strong

Because the situation is stable, we can enjoy our holidays in some weeks.
We planned to go to Mittenwald, a lovely small town in the German
mountains.
But before we leave, we must work a little, we enjoy children and
grandchildren. But we don't like the weather at this moment here
in Holland. It seems to be autumn now.

No message, means good message

Many weeks passed since last message.
Every three months Jet has a blood research and last month also another
bone scan.

The oncologist could reaffirm a stable situation.
Is it strange that the exit of the hospital is much nicer than the
entrance?
Untill now we have a very warm spring in Holland and it means that
we can enjoy the garden and the sunshine.
On Monday Lisa is here the whole day and both grandparents enjoy it.
